Consumer Direct Loan Officer

We are seeking a Consumer Direct Loan Officer to join our team! The CDLO’s focus is to manage, nurture, and convert online leads. The CDLO is responsible for handling inbound requests, building rapport with the customer, determining the customer’s needs, taking applications, quoting fees and interest rates, as well as managing the transaction from application through closing. We are seeking a highly motivated, ethical team player who is looking to be part of a company with a great future in lending.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Fannie, Freddie, FHA, VA, USDA, and portfolio mortgage lending
• Understanding of loan program guidelines
• Mortgage Loan Originator license not required to start; however, you will be required to acquire your license with Neighborhood Loans support within your first year of employment.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry standards for income, asset, credit, and appraisal approval
• Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
• Genuine curiosity about people and ability to discuss clients’ financial situations
• Adaptability and quick thinking when faced with new challenges or tough conversations

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.
