Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work in cardiac catheterization lab with 4 labs seeing approximately 15-23 cases per day

• Adult-only patient population seeking inpatient/outpatient interventional cardiac services

• Up to 1 week of unit orientation provided

• 8-week contract with potential for short extension

• Free parking on site

• Procedural scrubs provided

• Use EPIC charting system, Alaris IV, Pyxis medication dispensing, Zoll defibrillator, Phillips Fluoro machine, Merge Hemodynamics, and Data scope IABP

•

Required:

2 years catheterization lab experience, Associate's degree, active BLS and ACLS (AHA), Illinois state license (IEMA), and ARRT or RTR certification

• Previous EPIC experience required

• Highly preferred: RCIS certification (CCI) and previous EPIC Cupid experience

•

Required skills:

aseptic technique knowledge, sheath pulling, TR band placement/removal, line securement, EKG/cardiac rhythm interpretation, IABP/Impella operation
