Enterprise Cybersecurity Sales Engineer – technical backbone of the sales process, bridging advanced cybersecurity technologies and client business needs. Partner with Account Executives to design tailored security architectures, lead product demonstrations, manage Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and ensure solutions align with customer requirements. Hybrid position onsite in Downers Grove, IL headquarters.
Qualifications Core Responsibilities- Maintain deep knowledge of cybersecurity products and services (endpoint, network, cloud security) and evolving threat landscapes.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, strategize sales approaches, and provide technical insights.
- Map customer challenges to product features, creating customized security architectures and proposals.
- Deliver engaging demos and technical deep-dives to prospects and clients.
- Manage technical evaluations and trials to validate solution effectiveness.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and relaying insights to product and engineering teams.
- Technical proficiency in cybersecurity domains.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead strategic conversations with Director and C-Level executives.
- Strong problem-solving and solution-mapping capabilities.
- Passion for cybersecurity and ability to sell and map a solution out.
- Engage with Director and C-Level executives, presenting impactful solutions and leading compelling strategic conversations.
- Eagerness to get in the trenches of sales strategy, prospecting methodology, and overall team effectiveness.
- Lead efforts to win new business and expand existing client relationships nationwide by solutioning cybersecurity needs.
- Sell managed cybersecurity services such as SOC/SIEM, XDR, EDR, advisory consulting, vCISO, and incident response.
- Learn how to create technical proposals, statements of work, and bills of materials for client review.
- Strong communication skills and to present solutions and conduct effective client Q&A sessions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to build relationships, close deals, and grow professionally.
- Candidate must have a car; position requires travel and equipment transport.
- Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance required.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.
Enterprise Cybersecurity Sales Engineer salary range: $175,000-$210,000.
