Are you ready to take on a high-impact role that blends advanced technical expertise with strategic sales execution? We are seeking an Enterprise Cybersecurity Sales Engineer to join our team and help drive success in selling cutting-edge security solutions to large enterprises. In this role, you will act as the technical backbone of the sales process—bridging the gap between complex cybersecurity technologies and client business needs.
You’ll partner with Account Executives to design tailored security architectures, lead product demonstrations, manage Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and ensure solutions align with customer requirements. Your ability to translate technical capabilities into business value will be key to building trust and driving revenue growth. This position offers a competitive base salary, bonus plan, and commission structure, along with opportunities for career advancement into Solutions Architecture, Product Management, or Consulting.
This is a hybrid position based onsite in our Downers Grove, IL headquarters.
Core Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of cybersecurity products and services (endpoint, network, cloud security) and evolving threat landscapes.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, strategize sales approaches, and provide technical insights.
- Solution Design: Map customer challenges to product features, creating customized security architectures and proposals.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging demos and technical deep‑dives to prospects and clients.
- Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Manage technical evaluations and trials to validate solution effectiveness.
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and relaying insights to product and engineering teams.

- Ability to lead strategic conversations with Director and C‑Level executives.

Requirements:
- Passion for cybersecurity and ability to sell it and map a solution out.
- Ability to engage with Director and C‑Level executives, both technical and non‑technical users alike, presenting impactful solutions and leading compelling strategic conversations.
- Eagerness to get in the trenches of sales strategy, prospecting methodology, and overall team effectiveness.
- Ability to lead efforts to win new business and expand existing client relationships nationwide by solutioning cybersecurity needs to positively impact our customers and build our growing brand.
- Interest and ability to sell managed cybersecurity services such as SOC/SIEM, XDR, EDR, advisory consulting, vCISO, and incident response.
- Ability or willingness to learn how to create technical proposals, statements of work, and bills of materials for client review.
- Strong communication skills and to present solutions and conduct effective client Q&A sessions.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and driven to build relationships, close deals, and grow professionally.
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.

Compensation Range:
Enterprise Cybersecurity Sales Engineer $175,000-$210,000
