Production Supervisor- Night Shift

Overview

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for their shift on an alternating 12‑hour schedule. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this role coaches front-line leadership, engages hourly technicians in plant-wide initiatives, and leads efforts in Continuous Improvement Projects and High-Performance Organization (HPO) initiatives. The role ensures safety, product quality, line efficiency, budgetary goals, KPIs, and organizational capability/employee morale, and leads in a High-Performance Organization to execute strategies across shifts.

• Provide clear direction and priorities for the business unit aligned with the site for all shifts.
• Develop and maintain team plans and budgets; manage direct and indirect labor efficiently.
• Develop Team Leaders, Service Leaders, and other leadership; provide training, coaching, and facilitation.
• Manage the Safety system within the assigned area.
• Lead the development of daily management systems (e.g., DDS, CL, RCFA) and operational standards documentation.
• Communicate business unit results and needs to senior management; foster positive employee relations.
• Track KPIs, monitor results against work plans and budgets, including safety and quality.
• Participate in strategic planning, daily management, budgeting, and capital forecasting; build cross-functional relationships with plant functions and WHQ teams.
• Lead activities to achieve KPIs on Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Reliability, Cost, and People development; participate in broader operations planning and improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma/GED required; 1–3 years of supervisory experience or 2+ years of manufacturing operations experience, or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must be able to work an alternating night schedule (6pm–6:30am) with alternating 36/48 hour weeks.

• 2+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing (e.g., Supervisor, Team Lead, Sr. Operations).
• Experience overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality compliance.
• Cross-functional operations experience with knowledge of various plant functions.

• Stand or walk approximately 75–80% of each shift; sit occasionally for administrative tasks.
• Occasionally bend, reach, climb; may involve repetitive motions and static postures.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Moderate noise; hearing protection required; exposure to warm production environments near ovens or cooking equipment.

The base salary range is $59,400 – $85,400 per year. Total pay may include additional compensation.
