The Calibration Coordinator coordinates all tracking of inventoried gauges and associated calibrations/services as required by CED’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and industry standards.

• Create, maintain, and update equipment, gauges, and tooling in the calibration software (Gage Trak); updates include certificates, locations, due dates of next service, and the like.
• Coordinate gauge calibrations with approved calibration vendors.
• Communicate with internal departments for asset removal and return to service.
• Monitor certifications of approved vendors and raise concerns or potential deviations.
• Coordinate acceptance of new equipment with internal stakeholders as directed.
• Ensure calibrations are maintained and serviced according to the established schedule and appropriate vendor.
• Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic blueprint reading and manufacturing technology preferred.

• Lawful permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).
• Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and ability to independently perform multiple assignments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently.
• Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
• Use of computer.
