Calibration Coordinator

The Calibration Coordinator coordinates all tracking of inventoried gauges and associated calibrations/services as required by CED’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Create, maintain, and update equipment, gauges, and tooling in the calibration software (Gage Trak); updates include certificates, locations, due dates of next service, and the like.
- Coordinate gauge calibrations with approved calibration vendors.
- Communicate with internal departments for asset removal and return to service.
- Monitor certifications of approved vendors and raise concerns or potential deviations.
- Coordinate acceptance of new equipment with internal stakeholders as directed.
- Ensure calibrations are maintained and serviced according to the established schedule and appropriate vendor.
- Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Basic blueprint reading and manufacturing technology preferred.
- Lawful permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).
- Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and ability to independently perform multiple assignments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently.
- Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
- Use of computer.
