Description Moldtronics Inc is seeking a highly focused and detail-oriented Inspector – Production Rate to join our team in Downers Grove, IL. This hands‑on role involves inspecting and cleaning flash from small injection molded plastic parts using an x‑acto knife or similar precision tool under a microscope. Success requires exceptional fine‑motor skills, steady hands, and the ability to maintain consistent output while upholding strict quality standards.

• Prior experience in injection molding, quality inspection, or fine detail work preferred
• Strong manual dexterity and fine‑motor skills essential for precision trimming
• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in a production environment with repetitive tasks

• Maintain high accuracy in identifying defects and inconsistencies during microscopic inspection
• Ensure precise flash removal while preserving the integrity of each part
• Consistently meet daily targets for the number of parts inspected and cleaned
• Adhere to established safety protocols and quality control standards throughout all tasks

• Primarily seated role with extended periods of focused, fine‑detail work
• Regular use of microscopes and precision cutting tools such as x‑acto knives
• Operates within a standard production floor setting

Hiring one qualified candidate for either 1st or 2nd shift.

Monday–Friday

1st Shift - 7:30 am to 4:10 pm

2nd Shift - 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
