Base pay range

$37.50/hr – $56.25/hr

Major Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess needs, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate effectiveness.
• Anticipates and recognizes significant changes in patient condition, provides ongoing assessment and acts appropriately.
• Implements strategies to reduce risk, increases safety, assesses readiness to learn.
• Coordinates discharge plan, applies evidence‑based practice, incorporates standards.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the AHA.

Education Required

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.

Experience Required

• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Certification Addendum

• Maintain annual education for hospital‑based certifications (e.g., DNV, CARF).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, twist frequently.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, 20 lbs. over the head, carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
• Push/pull with 30 lbs. of force.
• Perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person.
• Use foot pedals on carts/machines.
• May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste, blood, body fluids, communicable disease; protective clothing required.
• Functional speech, vision, hearing, touch; perform IV insertion and other procedures.
• Operate equipment necessary for the job.
