Designation: Senior Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities:
Write multi-threaded applications that run on embedded or Raspberry Pi based systems; interface with various peripheral devices such as I/O boards and serial communication protocols.Collect requirements from internal and external clients and document them. Design, develop, optimize and performance tune custom applications. Conduct unit testing and debugging across various stages of the development lifecycle. Collaborate with peers throughout all development stages. Estimate and scope development work.Produce documentation of code functionality and features consistently throughout the development cycle. Participate in requirements analysis and design reviews. Perform peer code reviews to discover issues and recommend changes that improve software quality. Work with hardware vendors/manufacturers on industrial motherboard, panels, PCBs and control system boards, including VFD application programming and support.Qualifications:
4 years’ experience in software development.Embedded systems design experience.Micro-processor/micro-controller knowledge of TCP/IP socket programming is a must.Must have
Skills:
- Embedded C, C++
- Experience with Eclipse IDE and GCC (GNU) compiler
- Linux OS or RTOS experience – QNX and uC
