Software Development Manager

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and mentor a development team in the design, development, and delivery of high‑quality software solutions for one of our customers. This pivotal role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams, driving development best practices, and ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. They need someone familiar with CRM and able to work with a legacy custom ERP and help determine future direction and lead that effort.

They will lead, manage, and mentor a team of software developers fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of (e.g., 5+) years of experience in professional software development.
• Minimum of (e.g., 2+) years of experience in a management or technical leadership role.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, PHP, Python, C/C++/C#, BBj, etc.).
• Must be able to work onsite.

This is a Permanent position based out of Downers Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $120,000 – $180,000/yr. Benefits include 401(k) with employer match, health, dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability, life and AD&D insurance, flexible spending accounts, and an annual discretionary bonus based on company financial success.

This is a fully onsite position in Downers Grove, IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Dec 11, 2025.
