The Otolaryngologist coordinates a course of treatment for patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs related to the ear, nose, or throat, including malignant disease of head and neck areas, while working with an inter-disciplinary team of nurses, physician assistants, dietitians, surgeons, pathologists and pharmacists. The Otolaryngologist will act as an expert in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery disease management and prevention.

• Demonstrated expertise in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgical diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding an Otolaryngologist scope of practice.
• Experience performing and interpreting laryngology findings, nasal endoscopy findings, CT/MRI, US of the head and neck, and pathology results.
• Demonstrated experience with laryngology, nasal endoscopy, minor otolaryngology procedures (e.g., in-office biopsies preferred).
• Preferred training in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery.
• Ability to consult for ear, nose or throat as well as related head and neck areas
• Fellowship or certification from the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Independent performer

• Current California Medical license
• Graduate from an accredited Medical School
• Graduate from an accredited Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgical Residency program
• Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible from the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOto)
