Systems Engineer, Data Engineer
Senior storage solutions architect will provide subject matter expertise in industry, and have specific knowledge of methods including designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance enterprise storage solutions, including across multi-vendor platforms. The senior storage solutions architect will have extensive experience architecting enterprise data backup and recovery for diverse on-premises workloads, including VMware, AIX, Client-UX, NAS, Windows, and Linux environments; deep expertise in Dell Power Max (block storage), including SRDF, Unisphere, and NVMe integrations;
and experience with storage automation using Ansible, Python, REST APIs, or Power Shell for provisioning and configuration management. The senior storage solutions architect will posses a strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise it infrastructure, be proficient in at least one programming language, excellent interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication.
Skills preferred:
- 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting multi-vendor storage solutions for enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco MDS director switches
- 5+ years of experience with Dell Power Max, Power Scale, and Elastic Cloud Storage
- 5+ years of experience with IBM Flash System 7200
- 5+ years of experience with Net App Filers and Storage GRID
- 5+ years of experience with Pure X70/X90 Active Cluster
- 5+ years of experience with Power Shell scripting for automating tasks or Ansible equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience with VMware environments
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- 5+ years of experience with AIX, Client-UX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field
