Capital Projects Manager

Hybrid Roles in Downey, CA – Must be able to work onsite a couple of times a month (no exceptions).

Duration: 12‑month contract with potential to hire / Contract‑to‑Hire (based on performance).

Pay Rate: $70/hr on W2 (no 1099 or C2C at this time).

• Manage the complete lifecycle of medium‑sized capital projects, ensuring timely, on‑budget, and high‑quality execution.
• Serve as the primary contact among internal teams, external vendors, and senior management.
• Oversee all project financials, including budgets and cost justifications.
• Coordinate team resources and skills to meet specific project needs.
• Facilitate change management plans to support effective project adoption and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and approved project methodologies.

• Proven track record managing construction of new buildings (offices, hospitals, factories), major renovations, or infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utility systems).
• At least 3 years of experience managing capital projects following recognized project lifecycle methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on projects involving cabling, cabling upgrades, and networking (LAN/WAN equipment).
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling project budgets.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools, including MS Project Online (MSPO).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and adapt to dynamic environments.
