Position Overview

The Branch Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our branches. This position is responsible for branch operational and risk reviews, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure the branch's adherence to operational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall member experience and branch performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Provide training and support to branch staff to enhance their performance and knowledge.
  • Support efforts to resolve member inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate on branch expansion products and strategic initiatives to support retail initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in branch operations within a credit union or bank.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
