The RN New Graduate position provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients. The RN New Graduate will provide care under the direction of a preceptor during orientation period. They will perform patient duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care as well as coordinate the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines.
RequiredSkills
- Demonstrates fluency in English communication, to include reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Basic organizational skills to include ability to follow directions as outlined in policies or given by supervisor.
- Basic EKG interpretation.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of legal implications of nursing.
- Demonstrates appropriate critical intervention skills.
- Must have completed a nursing program within the last 12 months by the application date.
- Valid California RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
