We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new team members, and assisting with daily operations and sales targets.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Supporting store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting with leadership tasks when needed.
• Opening and closing the store as required.
• Handling sales transactions, promoting add-on sales, and managing register operations.
• Understanding sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT.
• Assisting with visual merchandising and store layout updates.
• Communicating fashion and music trends to management and HQ.
• Maintaining store organization and stockroom organization.
• Contributing to a collaborative and passionate team environment.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as merchandise handling up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $17 - $19.55 per hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
