HOURS: 30 hours per week / 36 weeks per year (working days to be agreed) plus up to 5 paid training days per annum
SALARY: £17,318 - £17,587 per annum (Inclusive of holiday pay as this is a term-time only role) (£25,749 - £26,149 FTE)
Due to increasing student numbers and investment into our inclusive learning provision we are recruiting for additional Learner Support Officers to join our team at Downham Market to support our Bridge to Engagement learners.
Our Bridge to Engagement programme enables learners who may not be comfortable at a larger campus to access further education in a small, bespoke campus. Our group sizes are small, meaning that we can offer a highly supported environment, enabling our learners to develop and progress to either further study or employment.
Our support team are integral in providing learners with the tools, knowledge and confidence that they need to succeed, and we are proud of the success of these programmes.
Our Bridge to Engagement provision programmes are designed to support young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues. We are looking for innovative and passionate Learner Support Officers who are confident in managing challenging behaviour.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Inclusive Learning team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
