As a key member of our Business Support team, you'll play an important role in helping services run smoothly across the organisation. From supporting meetings and managing correspondence to assisting customers and maintaining essential records, you'll be at the heart of delivering efficient and effective services to the community.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing professional administrative and secretarial support to Council officers and departments
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders
  • Managing correspondence, records, data systems, and document control processes
  • Organising meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring actions are followed through
  • Processing financial transactions, invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Delivering excellent customer service through reception duties and query resolution
  • Supporting departmental projects, events, and service improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements
  • Working collaboratively across departments to provide flexible business support where needed
