As Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial management of a c £20m new-build project within the Healthcare, Education, or Life Sciences sector.

Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will oversee all day-to-day commercial functions through 2nd stage procurement and on-site delivery, including:
Procurement & Subcontractor Management:
Placing subcontract orders, managing accounts, and overseeing 2nd stage procurement. Commercial Control:
Carrying out accurate measurements, valuations, applications for payment, and account reconciliations. Financial Reporting:
Assisting in the production and management of detailed Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports. Contractual Compliance:
Ensuring strict adherence to all project and contractual requirements throughout the build lifecycle.

Desirable Experience 5 years of post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor within main contracting. Strong working knowledge of JCT Design & Build (D&B) contracts. Proven negotiation skills and a strong background in subcontractor procurement. Relevant Previous Roles:
Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager, Assistant Commercial Manager, or Project Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or NVQ Level 6 equivalent / higher).
