Rallye Lecale will be based in Downpatrick centre
; public roads will be used for the competitive timed sections (Special Stages) and the aim is to bring visitors and local residents into the town centre to see the rally action and experience the excitement and buzz of national rallying.

Event Schedule
  • Thursday 23rd July
    • 19:00 – 21:00 – Autotest – Market Street car parks
  • Friday 24th July
    • 15:00 – 19:00 – Technical Scrutineering – Downpatrick Racecourse
    • 19:00 – 21:00 – Ceremonial Start – in front of Saint Patrick Centre
  • Saturday 25th July
    • 08:00 – 19:00 – Start/Finish area – in front of Saint Patrick Centre
    • 08:00 – 19:00 – Service Area – Market Street car parks

As a Rallye Event Volunteer you will support us by:

Responsibilities
  • Helping to direct competitors and the general public to the right areas, maintaining the flow of movement.
  • Handling simple information questions from the public (an Information Point will be available at the Saint Patrick Centre for other queries).
  • Directing anyone who needs to see the First Aid team.
  • Using a common‑sense approach to keep an eye out for health and safety issues and escalating them to a nominated person.
  • Marshalling on Special Stages (requires specialist training and experience – please email  for details).
