Day Centre Support Worker - Downpatrick

Day Centre Support Worker required to work in Mountview Adult Resource Centre based in Downpatrick. The successful candidates will work as part of a supportive team, providing care and assistance to adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. This is a rewarding and sociable role involving regular interaction with service users, supporting activities within the centre, and supervising outings.

This post will start immediately for 6 months with a possibility of extension. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am-3.30pm with an hourly rate of £12.75. Previous experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours preferred and manual handling is required. What We Need From You:
To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply Minimum of 6 months experience within a healthcare setting, preferably with learning disabilities Manual handling will be required for the role Be willing to undergo an enhanced Access NI check What We Will Offer You:
