About

you
  • Current membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
  • Possesses a Level 6 or Level 5 qualification in HR or Business Studies, or demonstrates equivalent experience
  • Proven experience managing recruitment processes end-to-end, from developing job descriptions to interviewing and onboarding
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices related to talent acquisition
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret policies, advise on recruitment and selection procedures, and work within a unionised environment
What you'll do
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on all aspects of recruitment and selection
  • Manage and coordinate the recruitment process from vacancy approval, sourcing, interviewing, to offer management
  • Support organisational changes and workforce planning initiatives through effective talent acquisition strategies
  • Assist in conducting candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and diversity hiring principles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment practices and candidate experience
