Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Location:

Central Bucks High School East (Location Subject to Change)

Available: 2026/2027 School Year

Compensation: $20.84 per hour. Additional $1.25 per hour if student toileting is required.

Hours:

Full-time/10-months/Student days only. Exact hours TBD.

Duties include working one-to-one with a student with one or more of the following needs: autism/emotional/behavioral needs/intellectual disability/medical needs/physical needs/grooming and personal care needs/academic needs/organizational and impulsivity needs, in the classroom, specials, lunch and recess. Assist student with daily activities, both academic and social.

Requirements:
High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED equivalent required at time of hire (the minimum). Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, effectively communicate with both students and adults and be a positive role model for students. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, walking, talking, hearing, climbing stairs and occasional lifting, up to 20 lbs.
