Job Description & How to Apply Below
Join an innovative engineering environment where technology, precision, and user-focused design come together to create high-quality consumer products. As a Development Engineer – Cutting Elements, you will play a key role in developing advanced cutting systems for grooming and beauty appliances, taking concepts from early-stage innovation through to mass production.

Working within multidisciplinary development teams, you will combine engineering expertise, creativity, and problem‑solving skills to deliver cutting‑edge solutions that excel in performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop cutting elements for grooming and beauty devices, including shavers, trimmers, and clippers.

Translate user, commercial, and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Design and engineer cutting systems with a strong focus on functionality, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and cost‑effectiveness.

Lead the development of cutting element functions from concept through industrialization and production release.

Plan, execute, and steer development activities while ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Apply expert knowledge to support technology roadmaps and influence future product strategies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create precision mechanical designs in metal and plastic suitable for large‑scale manufacturing.

Lead cross‑functional discussions, manage requirements, conduct DFMEAs, and apply structured development methodologies such as the V‑model.

Release complete cutting element assemblies, including components and sub‑assemblies, for mass production.

Candidate Profile

Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Proven experience in setting up, executing, and analyzing experimental studies.

Experience in function development and product development, preferably within consumer products or precision‑engineered systems.

Strong understanding of precision mechanics, structural analysis, manufacturability, production processes, tooling, and drive mechanisms.

Proficiency in 3D CAD for the design and development of precision mechanical constructions.

Passion for solving complex technical challenges through analytical, experimental, and model‑based approaches.

Knowledge of Python, FEM, simulation‑driven engineering, or DfSS methodologies is considered an advantage.

Demonstrated leadership potential with ambitions to grow into senior engineering, technical lead, or product architecture roles.

Working Environment
Success is built on collaboration. You will work closely with experts from multiple disciplines in an environment that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning. For office‑based roles, a hybrid working model applies, with on‑site collaboration expected at least three days per week.
