Market Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a trustworthy technician to maintain the physical condition of one of our properties. As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll help with the requests that come in each day pertaining to the more technical side of the building– like appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. We love to keep our buildings looking beautiful, so you’ll also be responsible for routine cosmetic updates – such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows.

Location: Skyline Commons, Dracut, MA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. On-call rotation required.

$26.00/hr – $31.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain at the ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs in the building to things like doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of equipment needed to make repairs on the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• A passion for fixing things, making spaces more pleasing for occupants, and readiness to lend a helping hand, even in high-stress situations.
• Strong ability to identify safety concerns and solve them.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.
