Orgill Driver – Dracut, MA – $80,000 Per Year
Orgill seeks a positive, energetic Driver to support our distribution center and deliver hardware merchandise to customers. This role requires a Class A CDL, Haz Mat endorsement, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Support the distribution center by efficiently delivering hardware merchandise, picking up returns, backhauls, and empty totes, and transporting them back to the DC or designated Orgill locations.
Specific Responsibilities- Operate a tractor‑trailer with one or more trailers.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip functions.
- Deliver trailers to designated cities or destinations.
- Pick up backhaul merchandise as required.
- Secure all Bills of Lading signed by the store representative.
- Collect and return checks on C.O.D. orders.
- Deliver any common carrier merchandise.
- Unload merchandise at customer stores, by hand when necessary.
- Complete all required paperwork (DOT logs, manifests, trip reports, fuel reports).
- Provide excellent customer service skills.
- Manage customer merchandise in a timely and safe manner.
- Take direction from the supervisor.
- Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
- Adhere to DC housekeeping guidelines.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned (non‑essential indicated).
- High School diploma.
- Current Class A license and Haz Mat endorsement (double endorsement required).
- Adherence to all DOT requirements and willingness to perform shuttle driver functions.
- Minimum two years tractor driving experience; preferable double‑trailer experience.
- Willingness to work as needed; overnight stays required.
- Excellent driving history.
- Commitment to a high standard of safety and compliance with all safety policies.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Good comprehension skills.
- Effective interaction with other departments and all levels of management.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and accurate record maintenance.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a can‑do attitude.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Must meet physical assessment requirements for this position.
