Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a full‑time, permanent position with Aprio Talent Solutions.

• Utilize Net Suite to manage multi‑entity accounting under an MSO structure.
• Set up Net Suite to meet the needs of the accounting/finance department.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records across multiple entities.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank feeds.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments in compliance with policies.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and inter‑company balances monthly.
• Support month‑end, quarterly, and year‑end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations).
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management and partner practices.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements and projections.
• Provide quarterly financials with comparisons to prior periods and prior year.
• Identify and report significant expense variances (10%+ month over month).
• Coordinate with practice managers to ensure accurate revenue and expense allocations.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with state‑specific regulations and internal controls.
• Maintain vendor records, W‑9s, and assist with 1099 preparation.
• Continuously seek process improvements leveraging Net Suite functionality.

100% Remote – Must be based in the United States.

Up to $90,000 per year (no bonus).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Net Suite (setting up Net Suite, not just journal entries).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices.

• Experience in healthcare or medical group settings.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management and healthcare billing concepts.
• Experience with MSO healthcare accounting (or private equity).
