Location& Salary
Location:
Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite (Draper or Lindon, UT)
Salary: $50,000 – $55,000* (Compensation is based on experience, scores on skills assessments, education, and credentials.)
Responsibilities- Perform accurate data entry bookkeeping work for multiple clients to maintain organized and up‑to‑date financial records.
- Provide support to accountants by assisting with bookkeeping tasks, reconciliations, and other financial processes.
- Pull bookkeeping and financial reports for clients to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Send bookkeeping and financial reports to clients upon request, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Assist with year‑end bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, report preparation, and project completion under accountant supervision.
- Attend weekly training meetings to strengthen bookkeeping knowledge and stay aligned with company standards and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline bookkeeping processes, improve accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency.
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting education (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software (preferred)
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment
- Ability to answer client questions using layman’s language
- A team player who appreciates a lighthearted culture (dad jokes welcome)
