  • Develop Accurate Estimates: Manage conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates while evaluating labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor pricing, and market conditions.
  • Drive Strategic Planning: Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, project managers, and field teams to establish project goals, budgets, schedules, and execution strategies.
  • Champion Constructability: Review drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts, logistical challenges, cost-saving opportunities, and practical construction solutions.
  • Deliver Value Engineering: Develop alternatives that maximize project value, improve efficiency, and protect profitability without compromising quality or performance.
  • Manage the Bidding Process: Coordinate subcontractor solicitations, bid packages, scope reviews, bid leveling, and proposal development to ensure competitive and comprehensive submissions.
  • Coordinate Scheduling: Establish preliminary schedules, evaluate construction sequencing, identify long-lead materials, and anticipate potential obstacles before they affect project delivery.
  • Build Client Relationships: Participate in client meetings and presentations, communicate project strategies, and establish trust through knowledgeable guidance and dependable follow-through.
  • Evaluate Project Risks: Identify budget, contractual, scheduling, and construction risks early while developing strategies to minimize exposure and improve predictability.
  • Support and Develop Teams: Guide estimating and preconstruction personnel, encourage collaboration, and promote processes that improve consistency, accountability, and performance.
  • Ensure a Seamless Handoff: Provide operations teams with thorough budgets, schedules, scope documentation, estimating assumptions, and project-specific considerations.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in construction preconstruction, estimating, or project management, with a strong understanding of the construction lifecycle.
  • Experience leading preconstruction efforts, managing budgets, coordinating bids, and developing competitive project proposals.

  • Proficiency with construction estimating, scheduling, and project management software.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the confidence to make informed decisions.
