Spring Gardens of Draper is looking to add an exceptional, responsible RECEPTIONIST to our Front Desk team at our beautiful community in Draper, UT. This position would be PART TIME & APPLICANT MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS
The following shifts are available:
• Saturdays from 2pm-6pm
• Sundays from 2pm-6pm
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Answer telephones, direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
- Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain a safe and secure environment, follow established safety standards
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
- Keep front lobby area and front desk clean and organized; etc.
- Direct emergency personnel to emergency location and be contact person in case of emergency
- Document in the logbook any significant incidents
- Maintain visitor sign in/out book, reservation book for guest rooms, and completes maintenance work orders

- One (1) year job related experience preferred in senior living communities
- Positive and engaging

- Being willing to be a first "great impression" for all those who enter the community through friendliness and customer service.
- Experience with dementia care preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Food handlers, first aid, and CPR certified (Or within first 3 months of employment)
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in a resident’s best interest
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and design program to help design community flyers and events
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following community procedures and guidelines and have the ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills
