Quality Engineer

Job Description

• The Engineer I will apply engineering principles to manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency and ensure quality standards.
• This role involves interpreting engineering drawings, analyzing workflows, and assisting in planning work assignments based on production schedules and machine capacities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

• Studying time, motion, and methods to establish standard production rates.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas.
• Reviewing worker logs, product processing sheets, and specifications to ensure quality.
• Assisting in planning work assignments according to production schedules and machine capacity.

• Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
• Confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Aid in improving manufacturing efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

• Creativity, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.

• Proficiency in CAD and other computer applications related to engineering.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflow data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
