Seeking a Process Engineer to support sustaining and continuous improvement activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on process optimization, root cause analysis, yield/scrap reduction, process characterization, and validation
.
- Sustain and improve manufacturing processes, yield, quality, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot process issues using RCA, DMAIC, and Lean Six Sigma
. - Perform process characterization and analyze manufacturing data.
- Use Minitab, DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis to identify process variation.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on yield, scrap, efficiency, and labor reduction.
- Support IQ/OQ/PQ, process validation, equipment qualification, and change control
. - Work ~20% on the manufacturing floor with technicians and engineering teams.
- Document technical findings and provide data-driven recommendations.
- 3–10 years of Process/Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, or related Engineering.
- Regulated manufacturing experience;
medical device/pharma preferred
. - Strong Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, RCA, process characterization, and statistical analysis skills.
- Experience with Minitab or similar statistical tools
. - Experience with validation, qualification, and change control
.
- Metal processing such as heat treatment, electropolishing, or laser cutting
. - DOE, SPC, and process capability experience.
