Job Location:
US-Remote
Hourly/Non‑exempt. Not hiring hourly roles in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon & Rhode Island.
OverviewThe Financial Analyst is responsible for performing key finance processes such as preparing and analyzing monthly forecast projections and budgetary functions. This role typically reports to the Manager or Director of FP&A.
What you’ll be doing- Administers weekly and monthly financial reporting duties
- Prepares actual versus budget comparisons for assigned departments, including forecast creation and execution
- Interacts with and reviews budget requests, forecasts, and other related reports with corporate budget owners
- Researches and analyzes variances and explains results
- Assists in the development and maintenance of financial reporting and analysis processes and workflows
- Manages financial efficiency related projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related area
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar financial or analytical role
- Developed knowledge of accounting principles such as accrual‑based accounting
- Good organizational, analytical and project management skills
- Highly motivated and committed to driving continual improvement
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and reasoning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the broader organization
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Experience with Net Suite ERP & Netsuite Planning & Budgeting preferred
$25.00 To $31.25 / hour
