Mortgage Auditor Underwriter (Full Time, Hybrid)

Meta Source is looking for a Mortgage Auditor Underwriter to review loan files and validate accuracy of loan information, ensuring Agency and Investor guidelines are met. The role requires reviewing multiple loan files, working with lenders to prepare loans for investor purchase.

Location: Draper, UT. Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office after training.

• Perform a thorough review of the loan file, determine discrepancies, and report them in a client‑ready format.
• Analyze all income types, including self‑employed, personal, and business tax returns.
• Accurately complete checklists, answering all questions completely.
• Maintain current knowledge regarding underwriting, process, and regulatory changes and agency guidelines related to quality control audit.

• Exemplary customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of guidelines for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA.
• Ability to work both in a team‑oriented environment and independently.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational, auditing, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate ability to independently problem‑solve with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 2+ years mortgage underwriting experience.
