Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

ARMStaffing is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist, Emergency Department (Day Shift) in Draper, Utah.

Draper, UT

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts.

The Medical Lab Scientist will work in the Emergency Department lab at Lone Peak Hospital in Herriman. The role requires proficiency in point of care testing and the capability to perform clerical duties as assigned by the nursing and lab director to support FSED operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the use of EMR and familiar with appropriate lab equipment.

• Conduct point of care testing in line with lab protocols.
• Assist in clerical duties as needed to support lab operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and lab director on operational needs.

• Full medical lab scientist certification through ASCP or equivalent (MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist).
• Experience in performing point of care testing.

• ASCP certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist) is required.
