What does a Lead Network Engineer do at Swire Coca‑Cola?The Lead Network Engineer will design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise network solutions. In this leadership role, you will set the technical vision for our network infrastructure while mentoring a team of talented engineers. You will drive strategic initiatives across 58 offices, including data center modernization, WAN optimization, and advanced connectivity solutions.
Responsibilities- Architect and design network solutions, shaping enterprise‑scale designs for data centers, campuses, and remote sites to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding and inspiring a team of engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Drive implementation and engineering, leading deployments of Cisco Nexus and Meraki technologies and ensuring configurations meet rigorous design and performance standards.
- Lead strategic planning and roadmap development, defining the future of network architecture and aligning technology investments with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Ensure operational excellence, creating standards for monitoring, capacity planning, and configuration management that keep networks running at peak performance.
- Strengthen network security and compliance, implementing robust security frameworks, firewall policies, and compliance measures to safeguard critical assets and sensitive data.
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration, partnering with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Champion innovation and technology evaluation, researching and introducing emerging technologies and automation tools to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Lead incident response and escalation support, acting as the ultimate problem‑solver for complex network issues and ensuring rapid resolution with thorough root cause analysis.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge management, creating and updating detailed playbooks, standards, and network documentation to enable consistent operations and empower the team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline required.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required.
- CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional and CCIE preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in network engineering roles with design, architecture, and leadership required.
- Knowledge of Cisco Nexus data center switching technologies.
- Experience with Meraki firewalls, switches, and enterprise wireless solutions.
- Experience in network routing, switching, and firewall security architecture.
