Overview
Consor Engineers is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead environmental and transportation projects for UDOT and public infrastructure clients across Utah. This role includes client management, project delivery oversight, and the opportunity to support practice growth through staff leadership and business development.
Responsibilities- Manage multidisciplinary environmental and transportation projects from planning through delivery.
- Oversee scope, budget, schedules, QA/QC, and contract compliance.
- Serve as client lead with UDOT, municipalities, federal land agencies, and regional partners.
- Lead or support proposals, pursuits, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Coordinate NEPA documentation and technical studies across disciplines.
- Mentor and develop environmental and planning staff as needed.
- Support expansion of the environmental/transportation practice across the Mountain Region.
- 8+ years of consulting or project management experience in transportation, NEPA, or infrastructure.
- Proven success managing UDOT, FHWA, or municipal projects.
- Strong client-facing communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and delivering on financial goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Lead high-visibility highway and infrastructure projects across Utah.

Work environment and physical demands:
This hybrid job operates between an office environment and a field environment and may require exposure to typical work settings, including inclement weather, heat, noise, and other conditions depending on project requirements. Physical demands include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. Occasional operation of a company vehicle and lifting up to 35 lbs may be required.
