Maintenance & Automation Engineer

You’ll support the engineering and maintenance team in keeping our production environment running at peak performance. This role assists in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing filling, packaging, and support systems—protecting uptime, quality, and safety. Exposure to automation, PLC logic, or Bellat Rx equipment is a strong advantage.

• Assist in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production equipment including encapsulators, conveyors, labelers, heat tunnels, and transfer systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues (AC/DC circuits, sensors, motors).
• Support senior engineers with PLC- and automation-related diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and capture work accurately in digital tracking tools.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely when required.
• Support facility infrastructure, utilities, and equipment installations.
• Uphold safety, GMP, and manufacturing standards without compromise.

• 1–3+ years maintaining or operating production equipment—manufacturing, packaging, or related.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; foundational electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and digital work order tools.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort working in a high-velocity, safety-critical environment.

• Exposure to Bellat Rx or similar filling/packaging systems.
• Experience in food, supplement, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Interest or foundational knowledge in automation, PLCs, or digital monitoring systems.
