Job Title: Picker/Packer - Warehouse

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

Job Summary

The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring that products are handled efficiently, securely, and meet company quality standards before leaving the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
• Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Label, scan, and process orders through the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Verify product quantities, quality, and accuracy of orders before shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read and understand order sheets, invoices, and labels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move boxes/products up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Basic computer or scanner knowledge helpful.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
