Teaching Assistant
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant in Driffield to work at an excellent secondary school. This position will start ASAP and will last until at least 15th June 2026. It is a full-time, temporary role. Payment for this position will be between £95 and £105 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
The school is accessible via public transport and by car. It is part of a small but growing academy trust, and success in this role may lead to further positions within the trust. A large on-site car park is available for candidates who drive.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for ensuring that students have full support in their lessons to make strong progress. Typically you will support students with additional needs, and must display a calm and understanding manner to ensure they thrive. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the class teachers and will work closely with the Head of SEND to ensure all learners’ needs are met.
ProfessionalDevelopment
Tradewind will support your development during your placement and beyond through our comprehensive CPD via The National College. You will receive the same CPD opportunities as permanent staff members and will be encouraged to grow.
Requirements- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Teaching assistant qualification (ideal).
- Experience working within schools in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- Full CV history.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
