Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Service Supervisor at a reputable dealership in Brentwood, Essex. This is an excellent Service Supervisor opportunity for a professional seeking to lead a dedicated service team within a dynamic environment committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. The successful individual will play a key role in driving operational excellence and managing team performance to achieve dealership targets.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary of 36,000 to 40,000 per annum, with an OTE of up to 46,000 including bonuses and incentives
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 6pm, with no weekend work

Duties of a Service Supervisor:

• Lead and motivate the service team to consistently achieve high standards of performance
• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, workflow management, and compliance with dealership policies
• Identify upselling opportunities to maximise revenue while maintaining excellent customer service
• Build strong relationships with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
• Ensure accuracy in processing payments and reconcile daily financial reports as a Service Supervisor
• Develop training programmes to improve team skills and technical knowledge
• Monitor service quality metrics, gather customer feedback, and implement continuous improvement strategies

Requirements of a Service Supervisor:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the automotive industry
• Strong mechanical knowledge and technical understanding of vehicle systems
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Experience in upselling and increasing revenue streams
• Ability to manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Exceptional communication skills and a proactive leadership style
