Overview

We are looking to appoint an Office Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team at Witton Middle School, Droitwich. This is a term‑time only, permanent, full‑time role (35 hours per week Monday‑Friday 8:30 am–4 pm) with a salary scale of SC3 points 5–6. The position is part of The SPIRE CofE Learning Trust. The role will start as soon as possible and expires on 9 January 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Offer a warm welcome to visitors at reception and provide first‑line support to pupils.
  • Perform general administrative duties to help the school run smoothly.
  • Assist with the promotion of the school within the community, supporting communications and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and support school reporting.
  • Administer first aid and hold an up‑to‑date first aid certificate or be willing to undertake relevant training.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience using ICT applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to undertake DBS Enhanced Disclosure, satisfactory references and pre‑employment checks.

Witton Middle School caters for students in Years 5–7 and provides an effective bridge between First School and High School. Our curriculum is designed to create confident, curious and collaborative individuals who will make a difference. The school has beautiful extensive grounds.

Employment Conditions
