Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 16:30
Pay and duration: £14.06 per hour, 12 weeks with possible extension
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Secretary to join a busy healthcare team in Droitwich Spa on a full-time temporary basis, with the potential for the position to be extended.
What you'll be doing- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to medical staff.
- Supporting medics with the management of their caseloads.
- Using Microsoft Word and Excel confidently for day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Operating dictation systems and producing accurate correspondence.
- Handling telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Maintaining effective communication with colleagues, patients and other professionals.
- Managing administrative tasks accurately while working to deadlines.
- Previous medical secretarial experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using dictation systems.
- Experience supporting medical professionals with caseload management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
You'll also need either a vocational Level 3 qualification or at least 2 years' relevant experience.
