Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying specialist equipment into a range of commercial and industrial applications. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are looking to expand their technical team with the addition of an Electrical Draughtsman
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer looking to develop a career within electrical design. Working within a small drawing office and reporting to the Technical Manager, you will support the creation and management of electrical drawings, ensuring accurate documentation is delivered to production.

The role offers hands‑on experience, ongoing support, and the opportunity to grow within a specialist engineering environment.

Produce and issue electrical drawings to support production requirements

Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within required timescales

Maintain and organise drawing office documentation, ensuring records are up to date

Compile and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production

Learn and apply relevant industry standards and regulations

Support fault finding activities alongside the test engineering team

Develop a strong understanding of products and systems

Degree or college qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or working towards)

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Good organisational and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Proactive attitude with an interest in developing technical knowledge

Ideal entry‑level role with clear development opportunities
