Electrical Test Engineer
Droitwich
Permanent
Up to £36,000
Main Duties- Carry out full testing and inspection of equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Connect electrical, water, and mechanical systems for testing
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics, including live PLC troubleshooting
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysers
- Work with high‑voltage systems
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
- Complete testing documentation and quality records
- Sign off equipment prior to dispatch
- Educated to HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of single & three‑phase systems and high‑power circuits
- Experience working with live electrical equipment
- Understanding of analogue and digital electronics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent problem‑solving skills
- Mechanically minded with practical hands‑on ability
- Flexibility for international travel to meet the needs of the role
