Group Accountant

A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, international services business as a Group Accountant, based in Droitwich. Main Duties:

As a Group Accountant, your main duties include:

* Bringing together financial results from UK and overseas divisions into the group consolidation

* Compiling monthly and statutory reporting for a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership and banking contacts

* Working in close partnership with Finance Directors and finance teams across the international group

* Providing the Board with insight and analysis to inform major commercial and strategic decisions, including M&A and funding activity

* Helping to continuously develop and refine group reporting systems alongside external IT providers

* Liaising with external advisors on broader financial reporting projects

* Supporting newly acquired businesses as they integrate into group finance processes

* Overseeing head office accounts

Based in Droitwich, this role sits within a tight-knit finance team of around ten, right at the centre of the group’s head office. What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified – essential

* Technical experience of accounting frameworks such as IFRS and FRS – essential

* Background in either practice or industry – candidates moving from practice for the first time are welcome to apply

* Experience with statutory accounts and consolidation is desirable but not essential

* A pragmatic, team-focused approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting the wider team’s goals
