Totally Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Sawmill Operative to join an established manufacturing business based in Droitwich.
Our client has over 50 years of experience manufacturing vehicle recovery systems and has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality products.

Full training on machinery will be provided for the right candidate, so a willingness to learn is essential.
The Role
As a Sawmill Operative, you will play an important part in the production process, preparing and processing steel and aluminium materials to the required specifications. You will help ensure materials are handled safely, production targets are achieved, and the working environment remains clean and organised.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating sawmill machinery, including saws, guillotines and press brakes.
* Measuring and cutting steel accurately to the required specifications.
* Sorting, stacking and organising steel and aluminium in line with company standards.
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of material deliveries.
* Carrying out general yard duties as required.
* Following all health and safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
* Working effectively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
* Hardworking, reliable and keen to learn.
* Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on work.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
* Aware of the importance of health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
* Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willing to learn how to operate different types of machinery.
Desirable but not essential:
* A valid forklift truck licence.
* A valid side loader licence.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, yard or production environment.
