Christmas Stock Merchandiser

The role is a zero‑hours, fixed‑term position for Christmas Merchandisers at the Wychbold garden centre. The post commences 3 August 2026 and ends 3 January 2027, and requires the candidate to live within a reasonable commuting distance of the store.

Job Types: Fixed‑Term, Zero‑Hours.

• Set up and maintain Christmas‑themed displays and promotional areas.
• Replenish seasonal stock and ensure shelves are fully stocked and tidy.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low‑stock items to management.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
• Ensure pricing, signage, and promotional materials are accurate and visible.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Support seasonal sales campaigns and special events.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling stock and displays.
• Work collaboratively with team members during peak trading periods.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Basic numeracy and stock‑handling skills.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
• Previous retail or merchandising experience is advantageous but not essential.
