We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Development Manager to join our commercial team within the agricultural net wrap and crop packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience in the agricultural sector and a solid understanding of baling, crop packaging, and related product categories.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, securing new business, building strong distributor and dealer relationships, and expanding market presence across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales GrowthIdentify and develop new business opportunities for net wrap and related agricultural packaging products.
Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, dealers, OEMs, farming operations, and key decision‑makers.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
Attend agricultural expos, trade shows, and industry networking events to promote products and generate qualified leads.
Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial offers for prospective clients.
Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking through CRM tools.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets aligned with commercial objectives.
Relationship & Market DevelopmentMaintain a strong presence across assigned territories through regular visits and customer engagement.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering product guidance and technical understanding.
Gather market feedback and relay insights to internal teams to support product improvements and strategy.
Key Requirements35 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within agriculture or packaging.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of net wrap, silage film, baling twine, or crop packaging products (highly desirable).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong hunter mentality with a proactive and self‑driven approach.
Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and industry events.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Full, clean driving licence.
Preferred QualitiesFamiliarity with farming operations, equipment, and agricultural purchasing behaviours.
Experience working with cooperatives, buying groups, or distributor networks.
