Supplying to a broad portfolio of clients, the business has a strong order book and continued investment. They are looking to expand their workshop team with the addition of a Mechanical Assembly Fitter. This is a workshop only role, with no travel or working away.

This is a hands‑on position suited to someone with a strong mechanical background, ideally with experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or general engineering. You'll be working in a supportive, skilled team assembling bespoke machinery using a range of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.

• Assemble components and structures to engineering drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately
• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of all assembled parts
• Support fabrication and build processes as required
• Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet required standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health & safety procedures

• Apprentice‑trained or experienced in mechanical/fabrication assembly
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Skilled in using hand/power tools and various measuring equipment
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude

• 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (DOE)
• Monday
  - Thursday 7am-5pm & Friday 7am-12:30pm
• Weekly pay
• 24 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays when permanent
• Temp
  - Permanent, full-time role with early finish on Fridays
